 Episode 4 (Challenge of the Samurai Boy!) Review

 

"Only a novice goes into battle with a pooped out Pokemon. Your blunder will cost you dearly!”

You know all the weird NPC battle characters you meet in the Pokemon games? Well, we finally meet one, and in all his glory, these are the epic quotes he gives. Anyway, Ash and friends travel through the forest, and soon meet this samurai boy, who I’m not even sure was given a name. But anyway, after the most epic harden battle of all time, they get swarmed with Beedrill. And Ash leaves behind Metapod! The bastard! But the next morning (he waits till morning!) he gets Metapod, and uses Team Rocket as bait. (They had to be included somehow) Soon after Metapod gets hurt, and then evolves into Butterfree, a nice moment. Then it ends. Overall, another good episode. I liked the last one more, even though in this more happened. But it still is very nice. The Samurai Kid was a nice enough character, although he was mostly just a layer for the episode. But it looks like we have Pewter City next, and I’m looking forward to Brock being introduced, so let’s get it going!
