And the fight finally begins! That being said, there is something really wrong with this match. It was so hyped, and these characters have no reason to dislike or have an actual personal reason against the other to win. It’s a simple contest of who’s stronger, and when looking on terms of story, that’s really boring. And the fighting isn’t great either. Sasuke even though not able to watch Lee fight Gaara, was still able to copy his Taijutsu enough for that to greatly increase his Taijutsu in training, which gives him a lot of help against Gaara. His stamina on the other hand isn’t nearly as good as Lee’s. He quickly becomes tired, and then Gaara soon does something new. He hides his body in a ball of sand, and our episode soon ends after a floating eye appears above it, and Sasuke seemingly will lose the fight. In the end the episode still has this momentum going from the last episodes, and the episode still works. All I know is this fight needs to wrap up soon, and get back to the better fights. Hopefully Sasuke will get some kind of character development soon. He hasn’t been around for long, and he could use a push. The episode isn’t slow, but it’s not all that interesting. Still good enough to earn another low seven, but I want the event that will soon trigger to happen sooner rather than later.
