And we have another new character, this one however looks more rooted into the story. I will say it’s been kind of overload of new characters, but I haven’t watched a lot of non long anime, so maybe I just need to get used to it. Our new guy is Trey, who I guess they renamed for the English version, so I’ll be calling him Trey for these reviews. Morty and Yoh found Trey on the side of the road starving to death, and offer him a place to stay. He tells how he’s from a village far north, and his people lived side by side with these little spirits that live under lily pads. But these lily people are dying, as the forests are being cut down, and that means the lakes dry up I guess, and if the lakes dry, goodbye lily pad people. So they sent Trey along out into the world to try and find help. But of course he was a homeless kid on the road, and sold strange crafts and things like that to get by. (I at first thought he said he sold crack) But now all his stuff is stolen, and he is screwed. Turns out, he’s a Shaman! Together Trey and him stop the bad guys, and blah blah blah. Then after what seems like a goodbye, he’s actually staying in the house that I guess no parent can bother to check up on. Then that’s our episode. It’s a good introduction to Trey, even if he seems like one of those characters that will be all over the place. But in the end another great episode, it was really good, and I liked it.
