Episode 138 (Pure Betrayal, and a Fleeting Plea!)

So yeah, filler still going, and this one I liked a bit better. At first I thought they were actually wasting five minutes on a food eating scene, but they didn’t. In fact, I don’t think they wasted any time. This little story was going on pretty smoothly, and I don’t know where they’re taking it, because it’s supposed to lead them to Orochimaru’s place, and Sasuke is supposed to be there. I can guess things don’t go right. But yeah, things went about as good as they could. Those bad guys had a purpose, and they lived it out before quickly dying. And yeah, that one was a woman, I really couldn’t have guessed that. The one with the worst character design got the best one in the end as he transformed. She, my bad. But yeah, my interest was held, and it seems like they’re wrapping this up pretty quickly. I know the last of our final story before the longest filler arc I may ever have to enter comes up, so maybe this will lead into that. I thought it was above average, and I have to say I liked it. Just hope they can at least maintain this rate until the series ends in… oh God, that’s so many episodes!
