Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits Trailer "Creative Topic" # 15"Creative Topic" #15: Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits Trailer  All right, at Comic-Con they released the first trailer of Season 2 of Legend of Korra, and I thought it would be cool to talk about it since I’ve only done one other trailer related Creative Topic. And I’m yeah, I’m late, and this trailer is old, but I don’t really care. For those who don’t know I’m an Avatar fan (not the fucking movie) and not too long ago I got around to watching the second series. And yeah, it was really good. Hopefully after the Last Airbender reviews I can get to Legend of Korra. Anyway, first off I thought the vibe and tone for the second season was really created. I feel it’s going to replace the steam punk thing it had for something more darker, and more like the Bloodbending episode in Avatar. Anyway, nowadays I think trailers show way too much, and actually harm films or whatever in general, but this, no. They just teased things, and that’s what trailers should do. Make more questions, not answer them. And all it did was show a bunch of images. Like you got Asami crying for some reason, Korra in Avatar mode, a bunch of spirit world things, and then Tenzen and his siblings falling. I guess that means we’ll be seeing more of Aang’s kids, which we could already guess that with the space they’re having to fill. And yeah, the animation went from old kung-fu style to even better animation than the last season, but maybe they were just showing the best they had. And I loved the little eerie music they played, it was worthy goosebumps. And I think they’re going to show more on the first ever Avatar, and talk about him a lot. I mean they’re was a guy doing Aang’s little bending klusterfuck, and it wasn’t Korra, so I don’t know who that was. Also it looks like Mako and Bolin were running into some kind of beam, so maybe they’ll be able to enter the spirit world too. And that fucking owl is back! Yeah, the old owl from Book 2 in the Last Airbender, he looks like he’ll come up again, so that’ll be cool. And yeah, I really thought the rest of the show would just kind of be inserted stuff. I mean good stuff, but a story that wasn’t really all that necessary. But no, this trailer basically slapped me across the face and said, "Fuck That! We’re going to be epic!” And yeah, dark, and creepy. That was what I was getting. That and Korra looks hotter with her hair down, but that probably wasn’t what they were going for. Anyway, really good trailer, season two looks like it’ll be better than I was giving it credit for.
