So it’s the good guys versus Jirobo (See I can Google their names if I want to) And it seems he’s really strong. And we can quickly find out they’re really boosting Choji’s character. He’s saving guys, and just getting much more screen time than usual. The plan is for Shikamaru and Naruto to stay behind and get the guy, but it quickly changes as Choji tells them to go on and for him to handle it. He takes his trump card food pill that really maximizes his strength (Not the best deus ex ever, but I’ll live) and puts above the other guy. Then Jirobo uses his curse mark, and then gets the upper hand. Then the episode ends with Choji taking the next pill of the three, and seems to have gotten the final upper hand in this episode. And yeah, it was a really good episode, and right under great for me. This really helped Choji’s character become real, and from how awesome this was in the manga, I have a feeling it’ll be even a better boost in the next episode.
