With episode forty-six, it’s like I predicted in the last episode between Hinata and Neji. Before the battle begins we get a explanation about the Hyuga clan, and we learn that Hinata and Neji are pretty much cousins. We learn more about the clan, and how Hinata’s kind of a failure to it. Then Neji starts being a total dick saying how she’s not a ninja and all that. Then Naruto yells words of encouragement to Hinata, and the battle begins. Problem is, this is more than fifteen minutes in before the battle begins. Anyway both of them use the Byakugan, and we get an explanation on just what that is. It’s like the Sharingan, but on steroids. Then we learn a little how the chakra network works, and how the Byakugan can see it, and take it out with simple hits. So does that mean if Hinata got a couple good hits on Gaara she’d win? Makes you wonder. Anyway our fight ends in mid battle, and this looks like it’ll be another two part battle like Naruto and Neji. But like the Kiba first episode this is getting a low seven, and it’s a nice episode, but this I understand taking two episodes. Getting to know the Hyuga bloodline, chakra system, and all that takes time. They just should have started the match a little earlier. Anyway good episode, excited for the big ending to it.  Naruto Episode 46 (Byakugan Battle: Hinata Grows Bold!) gets a 3/5
