Jesus, remember when I used to do Naruto reviews? Yeah, been quite some time. Since I’ve left the Naruto reviews, I’ve gone ahead and experimented with other anime that is now on the site like Shaman King (which I have the whole series reviewed), a little more DBZ, some Last Airbender, and after watching all of Death Note, I have some reviews of it up. In short, I’m a little bit different as a viewer of anime. But does this mean I will be doing Naruto reviews non stop from now on? Hell no, I got bored just watching this episode, and really don’t feel like doing that when I could be watching/reviewing some other things. But that’s irrelevant, you came to hear about my thoughts on this episode! And with new season, we are right where the cliffhanger left off, Naruto looking Itachi in his red disturbingly creepy emo eyes. Sasuke books it for his brother and Naruto, and even has a FLASHBACK (I think I’ll write it like that whenever there’s a flashback from now on) to his days as a child. Everyone looked up to Itachi, and Sasuke was just an annoying little kid. And what does Itachi do? He murders he whole entire clan! Not emo mass murderer at all! But in all fairness, for how annoying little Sasuke was, who could blame him? Okay, it’s messed up, and Itachi really needs to die, and when Sasuke sees him about to capture the helpless Naruto (good job by the way Naruto) he fires up his Chidori and epically does nothing as Itachi just grabs his hand like he’s a little kid. Then he breaks his wrist. Yeah, all that bent up frustration and rage for the past half of Sasuke’s life, it all went into that hit and… epic fail. But not all is lost Jiraiya pops into the scene, and he ends the episode declaring his awesomeness. All in all, not a bad episode, it was pretty dark. And I don’t know why, but Itachi has this feeling of I don’t want to watch Naruto all over him. He just feels slow and dark, and just feels like a literal "Ugghhh…” But who knows, maybe I’ll make another review soon, I kind of feel like trying out shows like Yu Yu Hakusho, and maybe some others.
