So yeah, Norbit. Not the Nutty Professor III apparently. Oh God, how can I describe this movie. Let’s start with what it’s about. So Norbit, who is played by Eddie Murphy marries… obese women with a long name who is also played by Eddie Murphy. Oh, and Norbit lived in an orphanage under the care of a Chinese man also played by Eddie Murphy. And Norbit basically hates his wife and his life, but is too much of a dork to do anything about it. Then he after finding his wife in bed with a dance instructor, then meets his old five year old sweetheart that he somehow even remembered let alone was actually able to be recognized by her… then again who else would have that afro? And yeah, you can guess the movie, it’s pretty predictable. Eddie Murphy playing multiple people, some of which are overweight. Strangely this is the Nutty Professor’s opposite. Whereas that movie was actually showing a moral about how you should stay in your own skin as long as it’s you, even if overweight, this movie has a lot of fat jokes. Like a lot. "Oh but it’s okay because she’s the antagonist.” Well, there was a scene randomly showing a donkey being ridden on by an overweight girl who just happened to be riding the donkey, and it was crying. But yeah, it’s not like this so terribly offensive. It’s like that idiot that thinks he’s clever when making fun of people… when he’s an idiot, and just making an ass out of himself. I don’t know, maybe it would work if it was funny. But yeah, it’s a typical Eddie Murphy PG-13 comedy. It has PG-13 humor, some kind of crude jokes, and stereotypical characters. The characters are one-dimensional, and the dork is trying to get the pretty chick. He's even talking like a dork as hard as he can. But I think I’ve bashed the movie enough, I actually do kind of like it. Probably because I watched this when I was ten. Now my brain’s kind of numb, and unlike when you go back to good movies after a couple years and see how good you are, this one just made my brain kind of turn off. But it has some good things. That little charm you get when you see an Adam Sandler movie that sucks, same here. And yeah, it sucks, but I like it. I find it a movie I can see myself watching with somebody and getting from point A to point B with a okay watch. I don’t think it ever gets painfully bad, or had anything above a couple turnoffs. But the good just doesn’t cover that. Unless you watched it when you were ten, then it’s all right. None of the characters I hated, and I didn’t hate any of the actors, they did pretty good. Katt Williams, why not? Did I laugh? Yeah, I think everybody will at a couple moments. It did have a really good beginning, and despite the stereotypical characters, that’s kind of the point. Eddie Murphy’s Mr. Wong is probably my favorite part, so that’ll tell you something right there. And if you haven’t noticed, I don’t think my movie standards are as high as people on Rotten Tomatoes or things like that. Their all right movie is my good movie, and their terrible movie is my all right movie… unless it’s the Last Airbender. Anyway! Yeah, not much I can really say, it’s your typical eh movie. But it’s likeable godammit! Hey, if you want to see Eddie Murphy thrown out a window and made Eddie Murphy’s bitch, then watch this! And yeah, I went back and forth between a six and seven. And… what I feel this is at the place I consider good movies, even if at the lowest end of that. Like, the lightest seven ever made. But sometimes you need some toilet humor with not much substance!… I’ve gone crazy.

Norbit gets a 3/5
Spoilers: Eddie Murphy gets his ass kicked. The end.
