See, here’s something about Avatar. They take the best of what feels like anime filler, the typical story in a Shonen Anime, and a cartoon based show where you go from episode idea to episode idea. Mixed with some good writing and wonderful characters. And by characters I don’t mean some, I mean the entire cast. The episode begins with the team practicing their waterbending. But Aang totally out shows Katara, and she’s pretty upset by that. And they go to the market, and they go to a market run by pirates. And Katara basically steals this water scroll. Then after the big fun action scene, they try this new scroll out. Meanwhile Zuko and Uncle Iroh are at the market and they run into the pirates, and they almost accidentally follow the Avatar. And Katara actually gets really fet up with not getting waterbending when Aang is. But after snapping at him, she doesn’t stomp off, but she backs off. She apologizes, but she continues her juvenile side by going at night and practicing the scroll she promised she wouldn’t use. But Zuko finds her, and holds her captive. He makes the pirates captures the others and basically has the situation in the palm of his hand. Then Sokka saves the day by telling the pirates, "Hey, your making a shitty deal. You know the Avatar could be worth a lot of money… :3” So you can guess where that does, good guys get away, Zuko’s boat gets destroyed, another big fun action scene. And I like the thing with the game piece, that’s especially cool for people who know what will happen with that thing later. And I like the whistle thing, everything was just really fun and enjoyable. Another great episode, I really liked it. As for the message. Well don’t steal… unless it’s from pirates. (Hidden message is fuck you, we don’t have to put one into every episode)
