Episode 72 Review (A Mistake From the Past: A Face Revealed!)

Episode seventy-two picks right where the last one left off. Sasuke fights Temari while Kankuro and Gaara go on ahead. He wastes little chakra, and actually wins by outsmarting her. He gets her down enough, but doesn’t finish the job. He races off as fast as he can, and meanwhile the much bigger fight is brewing. The Third Hokage has a flashback (Side note, more Naruto flashbacks need to happen before the big epic fights, there are enough too many that happen while the fight goes on) in this flashback we are revealed all about Orochimaru. We know that his goal is to learn all jutsu, discovered or not. That and he’s pretty much made himself immortal. He’s able to switch faces of the bodies he’s taken, and so he can very young if that’s what he pleases. I don’t know if he dies he’ll stay alive and switch bodies, but maybe. Orochimaru might not be in my top favorite characters, but he does deserve the spot of evil screwed in the head antagonist. So the Third Hokage alongside an epic speech of how the village is his family uses a new jutsu, and summons a big ass monster guy that reminds me of something from Final Fantasy X. Anyway another good episode, this actually was really close to an eight, but I just had a little too many flashbacks by now. Watch, there will be at least three more by the time the leaf village fight is over, guaranteed!
