There’s something really bad ass about the name Lion’s Barrage. So a good portion of this episode is Sasuke vs. the guy from Kabuto’s team. And Sasuke has to not use the curse mark and no jutsu while’s already running on empty. But he gets a pretty good win when he borrows a move from Lee and makes up the Lion’s Barrage, which gets him the win and into the finals. It’s a pretty good match, and I’m glad they didn’t spend too much time on it. I also like that Sasuke learned a move with his Sharingan, even if it was Taijutsu. After that Kakashi takes Sasuke out so he can put a seal on his curse mark, and that’s all we get to see of it. After that match two is revealed, and it’s Shino vs. that sound ninja guy that broke his arm a couple episodes back. The battle begins and the sound ninja seems to get the upper hand, and that’s all we get to see. Then we see as Kakashi and Sasuke in some strange ritual circle that puts a seal on Sasuke’s curse mark, then Orochimaru pops up and our episode ends. This episode is a little better, and the fights get a little more intense, yet nobody we care about but Sasuke has entered. Still better than what’s been going on since season two started, and I feel things are going to be much better from this point on, or at least I hope. Also I’m excited to see how the Kakashi and Orochimaru face off handles out in the next episode.
