Ultimate Warrior announced for Hall of Fame
Yeah, kind of knew this would
happen. It’s been weeks since I did a Raw review. And with holidays, me falling
asleep on some episodes (literally) and more, I couldn’t do a review. I
probably could have forced one out, I have some written down where I watched
like half the matches, and Googled who won the others, but I really don’t feel
like doing that. But with WWE Network coming soon, I might be able to do a lot
of crazy reviews I couldn’t before. Anyway, this was a weird night. I can at
least say it was… unpredictable. Anyway, a couple weeks ago, Daniel Bryan
joined the Wyatt family. And I loved it. It was awesome. But they’ve been dealing
with it strange, and it turns out he isn’t there to stay. Daniel Bryan and Bray
Wyatt lost to the Usos… yeah. But a rematch in a steel cage was soon scheduled
later that night where Kane would control the door. Then Cena fought Sandow in
one of his most filler matches in awhile. Probably just so the kids could say
they saw Cena fight. Then Big Show fought Swagger, and the rivalry between
Brock and Big Show didn’t progress. Although they’re handling it pretty good,
Brock sold Big Show last weak, and Show did good himself. But I don’t care
about this rivalry. Not even burying Swagger and beating on the racist Zeb can
do it for me. After that, another turn I didn’t expect. A kind of dumb rematch,
one of the few times I watch Smackdown lately, and I saw this match. But oddly
enough, the Outlaws turn on Punk, and they seem to be getting some kind of part
in the story. And with another match on Smackdown, they’re practically going
harder than a lot of the young guys on the roster. After that a divas match, making
AJ look good, which she took all the spotlight she got, but then it looked like
she might fight the Funkadactyles at the Royal Rumble… oh God, I don’t want
that. A good title match on Raw, is that that hard? After that Kofi fought
Orton and yeah… Orton lost. The one man in history whose holding the most
prestigious title (or titles, they still haven’t made it one!) and he lost to
Kofi. Cool end, I liked it. Kofi looked good, and Orton took his anger on
Cena’s dad, I liked it. To be honest, handled well. Especially since I was
sarcastically saying, "Oh wow, Kofi is going to beat Randy’s ass!” Then a
filler tag team I don’t want to even discuss. Then WWE proves that all Mexicans
have to be a match together by putting Rey against Del Rio,
and Rio won. It looks like he’s having apart
of Batista’s return but… Del Rio
had a promo, and he failed. He was like a villain for a terrible kids cartoon.
Even now as he’s fell way off his ladder and down to where I wanted him to be,
he still bothers me. Anyway after that, the big main event. Bryan and the Bray fought the Usos, in
probably their best night ever. They were not only in the main event, but won.
Maybe their getting pushed to win the tag belts, who knows? But Daniel after
some drama pretty much made it so he quit the Wyatt family and… I loved the
execution, but I don’t know about this. I wanted this so Daniel could fight a
bunch of people at Wrestlemania. He could have fought Punk, could have fought
Undertaker, so many opportunities that can’t happen now that he’s Face again.
But I was thinking, "man when was the last yes chant?” And then there was just
a fury of yes chants, and oh my god it was epic. I think everyone was doing it.
Anyway… above average night. Some filler, but some good development. But I was
guessing, and that’s always good. Good enough night, I didn’t mind it at all.
