Episode 19 Review (Defying Gravity)

 Episode 19 Review (Defying Gravity)

On today’s episode review of DBZ we play a game called catch the monkey! Goku, in order to gain access to King Kai’s training, must defy the 10x normal gravity of King Kai’s planet to catch the monkey that somehow is faster than Goku. Goku is a very skilled monkey catcher, he even catches the monkey the same episode he is assigned from King Kai to fetch it. In the end watching Goku developing with Bubbles and King-Kai along the way is actually pretty entertaining, and there is actual purpose behind it. King-Kai’s planet is perfect for catching monkey’s it’s creative yet simple tiny little world over Snake Way make it a perfect place for you to spend time going after primates. Seriously though, this episode actually does hold a lot for what it is, and I really do like it. Also it even squeezed two good scenes with Gohan and Piccolo, one that’s bad ass, the other that’s kind of touching in a cheesy made you smile from the joke kind of way. All in all I applaud episode nineteen for fully introducing King-Kai (I swear to God he might have been high when he met Goku) also this is just really creative, and you really feel like after all this time the training has paid off, but your still not sure it’ll be enough, which only begs to ask what the future will bring.
